Moditlo is a 3,300ha Big 4 Game Reserve, forming an integral part of the large Blue canyon Private Game Reserve, measuring approximately 12,000Ha. The reserve is located 14km south of Hoedspruit. Moditlo is home to most of South Africa's famous and rarest game, with more than 40 mammals and 400 bird species on the reserve. It is home to Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Wild Dogs, Spotted Hyenas, Caracals, Cheetahs, Rhinos and Hippos, amongst many others. Due to the excellent veld conditions, it also has a wide variety of plains game such as, Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Nyala, Duiker, Warthog, Impala, Steenbok, Tsessebe, Bushpig and dozens of other.
