Brandon Benitz
As an investor myself, I know what it\342\200\231s like to be in your shoes.
I\342\200\231ve spent my entire working lifetime helping others and that\342\200\231s the desire I bring to my position as the Commercial and Investment Realtor here at C21-Midlands. For more than four years, I worked to better grow my own investment portfolio, read over 50 books, listened to dozens of podcasts, consumed hundreds of hours of content on YouTube, and even had the opportunity to interview the likes of Chris Hogan and Clayton Morris. So when I had the opportunity to join the C21-Midlands team in October 2020, it was a natural fit!
I received both my Bachelor of Science in Education degree and his Master of Arts in History from Northwest Missouri State University. While at Northwest, I served as an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Instructor for a section of Freshman Seminar (Freshman Orientation), while working fulltime as a campus police officer.
Before joining C21-Midlands, I was the Afternoon Announcer at 880 KRVN in Lexington where I was live on air from 2 to 6 p.m. weekdays. I also hosted other live and recorded air shifts, anchored news and sportscasts, interviewed news makers and produced feature interviews, and provided play-by-play and color commentary of sporting events.
Prior to my position at KRVN, I was the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Conduct Officer at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and before that, I served as the Transportation Safety Manager at the Nebraska Safety Center where I led 8 programs \342\200\223 including Driver Education as well as day-to-day operations at the Ron and Carol Cope Nebraska Center for Safety Education and Research.
I am a graduate of Leadership Kearney Class #17, a former President of the Board of Directors for the Kearney Area Habitat for Humanity, former President of the Dobytown Chapter of Kearney Kiwanis, and chaired the inaugural Crane Watch Festival Steering Committee. In 2009, I was honored as the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce\342\200\231s \342\200\234Young Professional of the Year\342\200\235 and in 2012 received the Destination ImagiNation \342\200\234President\342\200\231s Award\342\200\235.
In my spare time, I am a public-address announcer for the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Kearney High School, Kearney Catholic High School, NSAA state championship events, and have even called events for the NCAA. I also present on etiquette dining and best practices for interacting in social settings about a dozen times a year.
Kearney is a fantastic place to live, work, and raise a family. In the past few years, we\342\200\231ve seen a high school building become a church and a church building become a chiropractor\342\200\231s office . . . so could a chiropractor\342\200\231s office building become an apartment complex? There is so much opportunity in the Kearney area right now \342\200\223 give me a call and let us focus on how to make your commercial and investment dreams a reality!
