He served in the United States of America Navy for six years onboard the U.S.S Thach (FFG-43) Oliver Hazard Perry-class Frigate. Frank is a retired Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Lansing Board of Water and Light for four years.
