Gerry was born just across the state line in Loris, SC but spent most of his life in the Piedmont Triad area of NC. He obtained his Real Estate license in the mid '90's and worked with one of the largest firms in The Triad.
He and his wife took their first trip to Oak Island in 1982. First owning rental property in Oak Island, Gerry and Phoebe moved to the island permanently in the Fall of 2017. Upon retiring from his role as National Account Manager for a major manufacturer in Winston-Salem, Gerry reactivated his Real Estate license and began helping others to find their dream home in and around Oak Island.
Since moving to Oak Island, Gerry has served as a member of the Oak Island Beach Preservation Society Board of Directors and assist today building bike rack and dog waste bag boxes for the organization.
His knowledge of the Island and his desire to see others enjoy seeing their dreams of owning Coastal real estate come true are two of his strengths. He has a servant's heart, is very organized and places a high priority on educating customers about all things Oak Island.
Gerry lives in the Caswell Beach community on the East end of Oak Island along with his wife, Phoebe.
