Shelley Panas
Like many people living in Florida, I\342\200\231m from someplace else. Born and raised in Michigan, I spent a decade in Colorado Springs before calling the Florida Suncoast home\342\200\224and I wouldn\342\200\231t trade this sunny slice of paradise for all the snow in Michigan (or Colorado, for that matter!). Relocating across the country multiple times, finding new friends and things to do, and creating a whole new life taught me how to navigate the challenges of buying and selling a home from your point of view. One thing is for sure: it isn\342\200\231t easy.
The truth is, in one way or another, I\342\200\231ve been training my whole life to become a real estate agent.
As the co-owner of a successful furniture store in Michigan, I spent a lot of time with homeowners learning what motivated them to buy their homes and understanding how to market and sell to them. As a software executive in Colorado Springs, I lived and breathed contracts, negotiations, and marketing. The skills I honed during this combined, thirty-year period built the foundation for my career as a REALTOR\302\256.
Today, I\342\200\231m a top-producing agent at one of the leading CENTURY 21\302\256 brokerages in the country. I\342\200\231m committed to securing the best deals (and finding the best digs) for my clients, and I hold a variety of professional designations that allow me to provide you with a higher level of service.
These designations reflect my passion for the KAIZEN\342\204\242 philosophy of continuous improvement and learning. This mindset is why I continue to study the real estate industry and collect a range of professional designations. In today\342\200\231s constantly evolving real estate market, you need someone who can keep up with industry changes, someone who can and will advocate for you at every step of your real estate transaction. I\342\200\231m uniquely qualified to do this because of my strong business and project management background. It doesn\342\200\231t hurt that I also have a secret weapon in my back pocket...
My husband, Edward Panas, is also a licensed REALTOR\302\256. As my business partner, Edward provides critical support, media production, and marketing expertise for our buyers and sellers. He loves to handle the boring\342\200\224I mean, the administrative side of real estate transactions, and he brings over twenty-five years of marketing and business development experience to the table. Our combined proficiencies are the perfect pairing to help you realize your real estate dreams right here in sunny Sarasota, Florida.
Want to know what else we pair well with? Podcasts! Edward and I launched our first podcast, Selling Sarasota, in February of 2018. What started as a side project quickly became a successful, award-winning show that educated buyers and sellers on the real estate market. Based on our experiences with Selling Sarasota, we are going to launch our second podcast later in 2021.
