I joined Benefit-Realty because of its REALISTIC approach to selling real estate, with flexible commissions from 3.5 -3.9% that benefited the customer and was more in line with how I feel real estate should be sold.
My background has been in a number of communities in Southeastern Wisconsin. I grew up in Greenfield and my husband, daughter and I later moved to Wauwatosa, then Brookfield and now reside just outside of Muskego in Norway, so I feel very familiar everything in between!
I was an Art Major at Mt. Mary College so I still enjoy art, photography, interior decorating, gardening and seeing the hidden potential in the many homes I see. I absolutely hate to see sellers lose thousands of dollars when selling, when a hundred dollars in paint, wallpaper removal or just moving furniture around with staging or de-cluttering would have sold their home sooner and for more money. My staging services are free to any of my clients.
I began my career in real estate years ago and then transitioned into Marketing Communications where I learned a great deal about advertising, writing, the internet and photography, acquiring a Business degree along the way. But, although I learned a lot that I have used with selling real estate, I always felt something was missing in selling products, so I came back to my first love, real estate, initially at ReMax. There is nothing like acting as a Buyer\342\200\231s Agent and helping a young couple buy their first home at a great price or seeing a happy seller that can now move to their next home. The negative was charging 6% commissions and \342\200\234administrative charges\342\200\235 of another $595 and not being allowed to lower your commission to actually benefit your customer.
