This river stand is located on Hoedspruit farm with a lovely riverbed on the eastern-side and beautiful mountain view to the west. You can choose which view is best!

The estate itself is just over 3,300 hectares and forms part of a 10,000-hectare conservancy. The estate is secure and provides a tranquil setting for residents to enjoy the beauty of nature. Residents have access to traverse over 2,000 hectares with a road network of over 120 kilometers.

One of the highlights of the estate is its perennial river frontage, with the Mbezi and Moditlo rivers running through the property. The stunning Northern Drakensberg Mountains serve as a picturesque backdrop to the reserve, creating breathtaking views.

Moditlo Estate is known for its diverse wildlife, including the "Big Four" game species: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, and additionally, there is a wide variety of plains game such as Kudu, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, and Waterbuck. The estate is also home to Cheetah, Wild Dog, Hippo with Spotted and Brown Hyena, adding to the rich biodiversity.

The vegetation within the reserve ranges from riverine areas to open plains, showcasing a magnificent array of trees such as Knobthorn, Marula, Leadwood, Weeping Boer Bean, and Wild Figs. This natural beauty creates a unique and immersive experience for residents, allowing them to connect with the African wilderness.
